In-Home Pet Euthanasia
This is an up to 1 hour appointment in your home, which includes a quality of life consultation, sedating medication for your beloved pet followed by a peaceful passing. Personal mementos, such as a clay paw print and a lock of fur will be made at this appointment if you wish. This price does not include aftercare. Additional fees for travel, pets >100 pounds, or safe handling may apply.
Private Cremation
Your pet will be cremated entirely alone, and their ashes are returned to you in a lovely urn of your choosing via USPS (signature required) or hand delivery by the crematory partner to your regular veterinarian. You may also pick up your beloved’s ashes at Final Gift Pet Memorial Center in Newmarket NH.
$250: less than 50 pounds
$350: 51 – 99 pounds
$600: 100 – 149 pounds*
$650: 150 – 200 pounds*
*Includes $100 fee for our crematory, Final Gift, to assist with transport at your home following your appointment
Communal Cremation
Your pet will be cremated together with other pets, and their ashes will not be returned to you, but will be scattered with honor and dignity at a pet cemetery in Middleborough MA.
$200: less than 50 pounds
$250: 51 – 99 pounds
$400: 100 – 149 pounds*
$450: 150 – 200 pounds*
*Includes $100 fee for our crematory, Final Gift, to assist with pickup at your home following your appointment

There is no cancellation fee if you cancel prior to Dr. Katie arriving at the appointment, but UVCVC appreciates as much notice as possible. We accept all major credit cards and cash. There is no payment plan option at this time, and payment is due at time of services.

Additional fees for travel or pets > 100 pounds may apply.
For any in-home euthanasia visit, pets greater than 100 pounds will require more medication due to their size. This additional fee is to account for that extra medication.
When your beloved pet requires special handling due to behavioral concerns, this fee accounts for the extra time and medication required to handle them safely and comfortably.
$200: Major Holiday Fee (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day)
$100: Minor Holiday Fee (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day)
