From our initial phone call thru the event, we had a caring and professional experience. Dr. Katie Suter called us in advance, arrived on time, spoke with us carefully and completely. She described the euthanasia process, then when we agreed it was time to start, she informed us about every move she made. She allowed us to express our emotions with respect. Our beloved Westie, Rosie, remained calm and without pain due to Dr. Katie's gentle touch. For this difficult decision about and responsibility to our 'member of the family' we had a superb experience.

Katie was very sweet, kind and patient. She listened to me talk about Rogue until my friend arrived. She was very accommodating too. She waited as we blessed Rogue and read her a poem before doing the final act. She brought Miss Rogue a basket with blankets. After it was all done, I tucked Rogue in and kissed her. Katie is very sensitive to your needs and a cat lover.

Dr. Suter was so kind and thoughtful. She arrived at our home, explained the process and then asked us to share stories of Sophie's life. It helped us so much to talk about her and even laugh at the silly stories. She encouraged our other dog to stay so she could say goodbye as well. She offered to stay as long as we needed her to and when we were ready, we walked her to the car, where she had a cozy spot for Sophie. Dr. Katie definitely has a gift. She is a wonderful, compassionate person. She followed our lead and guided us. We will always remember her kindness. Peter, Diane and Maggie.

We could not be more grateful for Dr. Katie during this incredibly difficult time for our family with our superstar, best of the best, family member, Latte. Dr. Katie was so warm, calming, and understanding, and it felt like she had known us and Latte for years; she talked us through every moment, and let us go through the process at our own pace. She was truly amazing.

Dr. Suter listened to all the stories about my beautiful girl and even remembered the name of my special boy (Rottweiler) that she grew up with for 10 years and mentioned him in the loving note she sent me. Saying goodbye to Oscar was incredibly sad. We had decided ahead of to time to have a Dr come to our home, because Oscar was terrified of going to the vet. Dr. Katie was kind, compassionate and absolutely did not rush. She explained not only what she would do, but she helped me understand aspects of his illness. Oscar said goodbye on his favorite yellow blanket. The most important thing to me was, when it was over, Dr Katie said “he’s at peace” . So meaningful and important. We cannot thank you enough ❤️. Dr. Katie was an Angel, a calming presence to us during a difficult time.

Dr. Katie was wonderful! I wanted to create a gentle passing for Neige, and she was so helpful. Letting me know every step of the process, allowing me to celebrate Neige with her. It was peaceful and lovely. Thank you!

She recognized when we needed extra time with her and was incredibly patient. Dr. Katie, Thank you so much for your kind, patient and informative help yesterday. It’s been a difficult decision to make for a while now. Winter was the toughest on Max the past 2 years. We just couldn’t make him go through another winter, knowing he definitely wouldn’t be able to get up and down the ramp this year. It was difficult enough without snow and ice. Just as difficult letting Max go was knowing the pain my boys and husband would have to go through. You are blessed with the gift of helping families go through these difficult times.

Dr. Katie was amazing from the moment she came in our front door. She was kind, sensitive and very nurturing. She explained every single step she was going to do for our baby and how he would react and what to expect. She sat with us patiently until we were ready. She sat with us after until we were ok to be left. Honestly she was a godsend. We were so happy to have her here. Considering the circumstances she made it a beautiful passing for our boy.

Thanks so much Katie for writing and for helping to transition Fred. You are an amazing person and I’m so grateful your service was available to make such a sad and emotional event less stressful and more kind and compassionate. As far as Fred knows, he just went to sleep in his bed. That was so comforting to me and to my friends and made his passing a little easier to process. From the beginning of your visit to the end, you were incredible…taking time to get to know Frederico and me, the knowledge you imparted on us about the process and your caring and kindness. I can’t thank you enough. I feel a sense of relief that he is no longer struggling with his frail old body and has found peace at the rainbow bridge. He will always be with me and I know he will continue to be my companion, just from a distance. I’m blessed with so many memories from our almost 20 years together. I have told so many about your service and how if I’m ever in this situation again where I have an animal in hospice, this would be the only way my pet would transition. So much more humane.

Dr. Katie, me and my family but especially Unique want to thank you for the amazing vibe, kind heart and caring everything! You made something that was very difficult just a little bit easier. Then after, you not only sent an email but a card in the mail with a beautiful kind message and my baby's ink paw prints. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your professionalism and having a beautiful soul... you gave me comfort when I needed it most and I'll never forget all you and lap of love did for me.

Dr. Katie was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for someone more comforting and soothing. She really let us have as much time as we wanted and needed with Brownie. She explained everything with extraordinary detail and patience. She reassured me over and over again that what I was doing was right and how much she understood the hurt my family and I were going through. She is truly amazing.

Dr. Katie was so kind and compassionate and took every measure to go slowly, to comfort Elfie and me as we went through the process. She made an absolutely awful thing to have to go through an experience of love and gentle farewell. Thank you so much.

Katie helped us to say goodbye to Torri, our family dog of 16 years. She was very professional and incredibly compassionate. It felt like an old friend was helping me say goodbye. The whole process at home was much more relaxed, personal, and intimate that it would be at an animal hospital and I was very glad I decided to go this route. I will be recommending at-home euthanasia to everyone with pets that I know.
